bahgsu jewels: the power of manifestation
madgi del moro leads a magical life.
almost 10 years ago, while on a pilgrimage through india, madgi took a silversmith class in the foothills of the himalayas. her passion for working with stone was ignited. upon returning home, she sold her rings, and founded her company; bahgsu jewels. we spoke with madgi about her journey through life, creativity, love, and entrepreneurship.
what is your greatest source of inspiration? “without a doubt, mother nature. from sacred geometry within the subtle folds of our wild surroundings, to lunar and solar symbols, if you are open, there is always something to download”
what is your favorite crystal or stone, and why? “i love chrysoprase. this stone is bright green and magnetic. it is said to bring subconscious thoughts to the surface, and act as a guide when called. chrysoprase was the crystal that called me loudly at the beginning of my journey through india many years ago, and i still come back to it time and time again.”
how does being a business owner empower you as a woman? “ultimately it has enhanced my level of confidence in myself. what started has a passion project has turned into a career. looking back over the last decade i can see all of the varied skills i taught myself - from accounting to marketing - and this makes me realize that i can do anything i put my mind to.”
what does your ideal life look like? “i am living it! deeply in love with my husband and son, eating pure food, drinking clean water, surrounded by an activated community. i strongly believe in the power of manifestation, and feel very blessed to wake up every day in a life i actively created.”
how has being a female helped or hurt your success in life, in business? “in my line of work, i think being a female is part of my success. i create jewelry that is crafted with intention and love. all pieces have a story to tell - either due to the metaphysical powers of the stone, or because of the hand carved mantras. i truly feel women are able to hear the whisperings of the wind easier than men, and i am honored to transfer this knowledge into my jewels.”
What is your advice for future female leaders? “devotion. find what makes your heart sing, what makes you feel alive, and when that is in your sight, stay true to the path. don’t listen to anything but what is inside your soul. your truth is the only way forward!”
